Jon and Andrew Pruden head a small team of qualified bakers sharing many years of experience and expertise.

Both partners trained at the National Bakery School London and the renowned Richmond College Switzerland. Heidi Pruden oversees the running of all our retail outlets and has been instrumental in launching our buffet service.
To cope with an ever increasing demand for quality fresh products a purpose designed bakery was built in 2000. This building also houses our Head Office.
Prudens have many years of experience in product development and are able to produce specific products to suit individual customer’s requirements. We recently demonstrated this by helping one of our customers, The National Trust produce the worlds largest scone.
We are proud to have been members of the NAMB for over 50 years with Norman Pruden being a past president of the Aylesbury and District Master Bakers Association and more recently Jonathan being President of the Bedford Association.
We source locally if at all possible.
Our products are made with only the finest and freshest ingredients sourced from local suppliers and produced to Prudens own traditional recipes. Prudens are passionate about quality and that starts with finding the best possible ingredients.
Good ingredients, tried and tested traditional recipes and staff who know the business is why we are probably the best bakers in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
